BELORADO TO SAN JUAN DE ORTEGA

25.4 km or 15.7 miles

Cooler temperatures this morning made for a refreshing morning walk remaining cooler all day. The path went through fields and several villages then into a forrest.

It was a long hike. After 10 miles my right foot hurt. We were in the middle of nowhere so I slowly continued for the next 6 miles through the forrest. In the evening I studied the symptoms of my aching heel and it would seem I have plantar fasciitis. One cannot walk 350 miles with this condition. We will see what happens on day 14.
